Domaine du Clos du Fief – Les Deschanes 2022 – Moulin-à-Vent

The wine needs to be decanted. The nose expresses notes of violet, lily and small notes of fresh sage associated with touches of blackberry, wild plum as well as slight hints of nutmeg and clove. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a beautiful freshness, a good definition, a certain small tension, juiciness and aromatic purity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ fresh plum, crunchy cherry and small notes fresh flowers/ pistils associated with touches of saffron (in its flowery side), sap/ « sense of place » (local biotope) and discreet hints of chocolate and toast. Good length. Beautiful racy mineral hint on the finish.
