The nose is well-built, deep, spicy, elegant and racy. It reveals notes of wild cassis, black pepper and small notes of concentrated black berries and juniper berries as well as fine hints of pulpy fruit. A fine darkness and a certain density full of finesse. Small hints of aromatic herbs and a subtle hint of grove. The palate is well-built, supple, fresh, elegant and mineral and offers delicacy in its untuosity, gourmandise, precision, a good energy, a tangy frame, purity as well as a chiselled, multi-layered side. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, violet and small notes of black berries associated with touches of concentrated red berries, rosemary, thyme as well as a hint of blond tobacco, a subtle hint of balsamic, cardamom and Madagascar pepper. A hint of cocoa in the background. Good length. A wine offering gourmandise, unctuosity and precision. Good deepness.
