Markowitsch Gerhard – ZW/BF/ME 2022 Göttlesbrunn 1ÖTW – Carnuntum

The nose is fresh and deep with some leather (Brett ?) and black fruits aromas. It is pronounced. The second nose has got a nice minty freshness with some cherry notes. The mouth is fresh and fruity with a hint of vanilla and bold tobacco. The acidity is refreshing and the tannins are high. The mouth is very dry and the salivating acidity is softening this very strong mouth. The aromas are fresh, crispy of little black berries like black berry and black cherry. The finish is long with vanilla and black fruits. It is quite a big wine in the mouth which needs time to settle and to become rounder.
