Gottschuly-Grassl – Zweigelt 2021 Höflein 1ÖTW – Carnuntum

Gottschuly-Grassl – Zweigelt 2021 Höflein 1ÖTW – Carnuntum

The first nose is aromatic with a nice honey touch. There are also some black tea leaves and black fruits. The second nose, with air, has got some leather and still under growth, wet leaves touch. The mouth is fresh and fruity with a nice black cherry and still black tea leaves. The tannins are strong with some red cherry and black plum. There is a nice integration of the barrel with sweet spices and coffee notes. The acidity is salivating and washing away the tannins still persistant in the finish. The end of the tasting is delicate with nice black skin berry and a hint of blond tobacco. Nice wine.
