Xans Entre Amis 2023 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is spicy, delicate and offers a certain concentration in accuracy, depth and an elegant austerity. It expresses notes of black blackberry, small black berries and more slightly – of zan associated with touches of bigarreau cherry, small roasted-juicy fruits (almost a Mediterranean side in the fruit), a subtle hint of black pepper. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced and offers tension and accuracy. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, black plum and more slightly – of small shiny black berries associated with touches of tobacco, nutmeg and a subtle hint of zan and camphor. Good length.
