The nose is aromatic, fresh, flowery and offers a fine incisive side. We find notes of iris, rose and fresh blackcurrant associated with touches of wild blackberry / small wild black fruits as well as a hint of black pepper, tobacco, a hint of incense and a very discreet hint of clove. The palate is nicely fruity, silky, creamy, gourmand. It is nicely tangy with the purity of the fruit and a nice spherical side which brings a nice delicacy. We have notes of pulpy and juicy morello cherries, bright blackcurrant and small notes of juicy roasted strawberries with touches of racy minerality, smooth as well as hints of licorice sticks, a subtle almost colas hint and thyme in bottom. Tannins are elegant and finely firm and tasty with lovely definition.
