The nose is fruity, fresh, juicy, nicely spicy, chiseled and offers a floral hint in the background and a certain concentration. It expresses notes of wild blackberry, violet and small notes of concentrated black plum associated with touches of star anise, black pepper, infusion and has fine hints of spices almost aromatic herbs. The palate is nicely carried, fruity, tangy, nicely sapid/saline. It expresses notes of juicy/tart blackcurrant, juicy/tart blackberry and small notes of iodine/salinity associated with touches of juicy purple plum as well as fine hints of crushed red fruits, star anise, liquorice, infusion, and a subtle hint of cinnamon. Good length, depth, freshness and a nice chiseled structure. Tannins are sapid and suave. Beautiful gourmand persistence, a subtle hint of vanilla in the background.
