The nose is nicely built and offers complexity and depth, a nice pulpy/mellow fruit, notes of pulpy blueberry, pulpy cherry/blueberry and small notes of vanilla associated with touches of liquorice, pulpy purple plum as well as camphor and sweet spices. The palate is nicely built, safe, nicely fresh, gourmand, and offers a nice purity of fruit, notes of blueberry, blackcurrant and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of roasted-juicy berries, blue berries, vanilla, star anise as well as a subtle hint of toast. Tannins are mellow, suave. A hint of oak in the background, a subtle sappy hint.
