The wine would benefit from being decanted. The nose expresses notes of Sichuan pepper, wild blackcurrant and small notes of small berries associated with touches of spices, nutmeg, a hint of pink pepper, violet/lilac as well as fine hints of camphor and tobacco. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, mineral and offers a nice definition, a fine grain, racy, elegant and tracing, a certain little straightness, precision in its fruit. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackcurrant, fleshy/juicy raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with a touch of small wild berries, spices, nutmeg and tobacco. Good length. Tannins are sapid and supple. A fine chew on the finish/persistence, with calcareous/saline hints in the background.
