The nose is fruity, fleshy and offers depth, intensity and nice airiness in its richness and grain. It expresses notes of pulpy blackcurrant, bright blueberry and small notes of quite ripe/concentrated small red fruits associated with touches of cornflower, liquorice stick as well as discreet hints of bergamot, infusion, black pepper and a hint of sweet spices. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, tangy, nicely racy and offers a fresh/mineral frame, tension, juiciness, delicacy. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackcurrant, juicy Boysenberry and small notes of bright blueberry associated with a touch of fleshy/juicy raspberry, toast, chocolate, black tea and blond tobacco, as well as a hint of fresh roasting. Tannins are supple, racy and well-managed. Good acidity and savoury persistence.
