Château Sanctus 2022 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Sanctus 2022 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose is aromatic, with a certain power and a fine, powerful and airy grain. We perceive notes of wild blackcurrant, wild blackberry, and small notes touches of crushed strawberry, associated with notes of toast, tobacco and a hint of vanilla. The palate is nicely structured, supple and fresh, with a mineral structure and a beautiful freshness. We find notes of luscious blackberry, creamy blackcurrant, and elegant roasted red berries, combined with a touch of fresh blueberry, cornflower, as well as a hint of sage, vanilla and a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut. Tannins are mellow and racy. Good length. The whole thing is both mellow and gourmand. Beautiful matter and purity.
