A beautifully elegant, silky, shiny nose which offers depth, a certain concentration as well as an infusion side. Beautifully deep, pure and chiseled. We find notes of wild blackcurrant, morello cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of black plum, small juicy roasted red fruits as well as hints of cornflower, zan, and discreet hints of pepper (green) and a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is nicely fresh, juicy, balanced with a fresh/acidic frame. We have notes of juicy and pulpy black cherry, blackcurrant and slight notes of blueberry associated with touches of blueberry, small roasted red berries as well as a hint of mocha, toast and sweet blond tobacco. Tannins are mellow, serous and nicely appetizing. There is a hint of good bitterness in the background. There is a nice generosity/sexy side to Cabernet Franc with a salty hint in the background.
