Les Jardins du Château Zaya 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose offers fruit, juiciness and a certain concentration/intensity of the fruit, darkness as well as freshness. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a certain purity of the fruit, a chiseled structure, a finely tight frame. The wine benefits from being decanted. The palate expresses notes of black cherry, juicy/pulpy blackberry and small notes of violet associated with a touch of purple plum as well as a hint of roasted-juicy raspberry, graphene, cocoa, incense and spices. Tannins are sapid. A hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence, and a very discreet hint almost vanilla sweet on the finish.
