The nose is aromatic, ripe and offers deepness and a certain concentration. It offers notes of cassis liqueur, concentrated black berries and small notes of crushed bigarreau cherry associated with touches of roasted-elegant red fruits as well as hints of liquorice, tobacco and an almost toasted hint of rosemary/balsamic. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, a tangy frame, a beautiful precision, tension as well as a discreetly tight structure. A good concentration in its fruit and maturity. This wine needs to be decanted. In mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackcurrant, black berries and small notes of camphor associated with touches of liquorice, bigarreau cherry as well as fine balsamic nuances, tobacco, infusion and black pepper. Good length.
