Chapelle de Labrie 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Chapelle de Labrie 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Lovely nose, elegant, racy, precise, spicy, delicate, beautifully velvety and offering intensity as well as depth. We find notes of morello cherry, flowers and graphite associated with touches of purple plum, small roasted-juicy red fruits (a Mediterranean accent), small crushed blue fruits (even creamy) as well as fine hints of Bourbon vanilla as well as a hint of fresh hazelnut and an imperceptible hint almost roasted. The palate is nicely built, fruity, and offers freshness, juiciness, a tangy frame, delicacy, tension, nice accuracy, silkiness, brilliance and nice finesse of the grain, purity and an almost crystalline hint of the wine. It expresses notes of bright morello cherry, bright red plum and small notes of roasted-juicy raspberry associated with touches of blueberry, graphene, chocolate, as well as a hint of cherry blossom, star anise, fresh lily as well as tangy limestone notes. Good length. Tannins are mellow and smooth. A gourmand and lovely sapidity.
