The nose is spicy and offers concentration as well as a certain intensity. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed cherry and small notes of small wild berries associated with touches of wild pepper, black tea as well as hints of spices and fine varietal nuances. The palate is nicely juicy and offers silkiness, freshness, juiciness, control, a linear/long side, a tangy frame. It expresses notes of juicy/tangy blackberry, juicy/fresh cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of tonka bean, toast, fresh raspberry as well as hints of tonka bean and toast. Good length. A powdery side on the finish/persistence. A hint of good bitterness from the cocoa in the background.
