Château Grand Faurie La Rose 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a certain power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of ripe wild blackcurrant, violet and small notes of crushed red berries, associated with touches of crushed cherry as well as a hint of liquorice. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a tangy frame, tension, accuracy, a silky/fluid side. It expresses notes of crushed black cherry, liquorice stick, crushed strawberry, as well as salinity, a hint of good bitterness in the background and almost a discreet cocoa. A subtle hint almost of aromatic herbs in the background.
