Château D’Anielle 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Château D’Anielle 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is marked by a freshness with a certain moderate intensity on the fruit, although the grain is slightly tight. It gains from being decanted. We find aromas of black cherry, pulpy blackcurrant, as well as juicy and fresh black berries. These notes are associated with a touch of violet and fine hints of zan. On the palate, the wine is fruity, with juiciness and a certain suavity. We also note a discreet freshness and a slight fat. The flavors of pulpy blackberry and blackcurrant mingle with touches of violet, associated with notes of clove, a hint of camphor, as well as a hint of vanilla and undergrowth. In the background, a discreet touch of fresh leather is revealed. Tannins are a bit dry and extracted.
