Château Monlot 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is marked by fruity and bright aromas, with notes of morello cherry, blueberry and, more slightly, bright blackcurrant, associated with touches of zan, lilac, cornflower, as well as fine hints of cardamom. The palate is fruity, bright, and supple, with a little fatty coating sensation, tension, and airiness. The minerality is racy. The flavors of morello cherry, bright blackcurrant and bright blackberry combine with touches of crushed strawberries, as well as a hint of cornflower, star anise, and discreet touches of toast, crushed almond and a vanilla note on the finish. A beautiful length with a subtle Mediterranean touch (roasted aromatic herbs) in the background.
