N°1 Les Reuilles 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose offers freshness, a certain darkness in the freshness, with a hint of infusion. It reveals notes of camphor, morello cherry and, more slightly, concentrated blackcurrant, associated with touches of black tea, violet, as well as fine hints of flint and fresh spices. A subtle nuance of zan appears in the background. The palate is nicely fresh, mineral, with some pulpiness of the fruit and a certain fluidity, while offering verticality and tension. It expresses notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant and, more slightly, juicy/fresh black plum, associated with a touch of small red berries, as well as hints of bay leaf, nutmeg, infusion, toast and roasting. Good length, with a nice freshness and juiciness.
