The nose reveals fruit, depth, indulgence and a precise, elegant hint of infusion, with a fine straightness. It expresses notes of bright blackberry, shiny blackcurrant and, more slightly, roasted-juicy cherry, associated with touches of dense berries, graphene, toast, as well as a hint of nutmeg, cardamom and tobacco. The palate is fruity, offering accuracy, suppleness, a nice concentration and good work on the bitters. It has a delicate and airy texture, with a very fine and subtly unctuous grain. On the palate, this wine reveals notes of morello cherry, roasted-juicy raspberry and, more slightly, violet, lilac, associated with touches of crushed blackberry, a hint of black plum/plum blossom, as well as nuances of mocha, tobacco and cardamom. Tannins are fresh and sapid. A wine with a discreet sappy and aniseed touch in the background.
