The nose is spicy. It reveals notes of dried flowers, a fine hint of sweet pepper and a subtle touch of clove. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness and a discreetly tight grain. The tannic structure is slightly marked. There are notes of pulpy blackcurrant, small ripe blue fruits and small notes of clove associated with touches of tobacco, spices and an almost hint of cardamom. Tannins are finely marked. The wine offers a beautiful freshness. It needs to be decanted.
