The nose is dense and concentrated, complex and airy at the same time. It opens with gourmet aromas of chocolate, mint chocolate and chocolate morello cherry. Then we find dense and ripe fresh fruits (morello cherry, red cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry, blueberry), aromatic herbs (rosemary, dried thyme, mint), sweet spices (licorice, cardamom, nutmeg, white pepper, vanilla, which disappears after aeration), as well as soft roasted notes (gourmet toasted hazelnut, chocolate, sweet coffee), refreshed by touches of fresh mint and basil. The palate is tight, with firm but fine, with sapid and cocoa-like tannins. The attack expresses herbaceous flavors (fresh mint, dried mint, basil), ripe and gourmet fruits (morello cherry, red cherry, blackcurrant, raspberry, blueberry), complemented by the tanginess of red cherry and a hint of bitterness of bird cherry. The finish is persistent and continues with the minty freshness of herbs (rosemary, pine needles) and a good bitterness. The acidity is fresh and salivating. Good aging potential.
