Château Hyon La Fleur 2022 – Saint-Emilion

The nose is elegant, with a small concentration of finesse and offers velvety and a certain fleshiness/flesh as well as a beautiful pulpiness. It reveals lovely toasted notes, fleshy strawberry, crushed raspberry and small notes of blackberry associated with fine clayey touches, small touches of dense fruits as well as a discreet hint of morello cherry and toast. The palate is nicely built, supple, elegant, racy, delicate and offers a beautiful velvety, fresh and airy matter. Beautiful mellow and juicy texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of juicy/fresh blueberry, bright berries as well as hints of cornflower, liquorice stick/star anise, a subtle touch of toast and cardamom. The finish is fresh.
