The nose is complex and concentrated. It expresses notes of fresh and dried ripe fruits (morello cherry, dried blackcurrant, blackberry, dried red cherry), savoury and generous spices (liquorice, cumin, vanilla in the background, coriander seeds, nutmeg, a touch of pepper), aromatic herbs (bouquet garni, bay leaf, sage and dried mint), a delicate touch of faded rose in the background, tobacco and undergrowth, combined with aromas of roasting (toast, coffee, cocoa in the background), which add complexity. The palate is more tangy, tense, precise and fresh, a little bitter, with more pronounced notes of cranberries and red cherry, while remaining gourmet. It also expresses flavors of morello cherry, dried blackcurrant, blackberry, sweet spices (liquorice, nutmeg, cumin, vanilla in the background), as well as bouquet garni and sage. The tannins are well constructed, savoury and chocolatey, but still need to melt. Good length on the notes of dry tobacco and cocoa on the tangy, elegant and tight persistence. Beautiful structure and fruity material, potential and density in elegance.
