San Polino Helichrysum 2020 – Brunello di Montalcino

(spontaneous fermentation in Slavonian oak barrels) The nose is tangy and chiseled. It expresses aromas of fresh red cherry, fresh raspberry, dried raspberry, dried cranberries, as well as a racy mineral framework (limestone, dry stone), complemented by a hint of smoke and dried herbs in the background. The palate is chiseled, energetic, slightly floral (rose). It also expresses tangy notes of fresh raspberry, fresh red cherry, dried cranberries, morello cherry associated with the delicacy of dark chocolate, a good bitterness of coffee and bitter almond. The tannins are fine and well structured. An airy wine, with freshness and energy.
