The nose offers expressive fruits, with a hint of maceration (morello cherry, macerated red cherry, wild strawberry, crushed raspberry, roasted raspberry, red plum, jammy cranberries), even a bit of alcohol and kirsch. Then, we find an expressive peppery note, and toasted aromas present (hazelnut, almond, toasted wood, toasted bread, a hint of coffee and bitter cocoa). After aeration, the nose expresses herbaceous notes, liquorice, menthol, thyme, fresh tobacco and a racy minerality (dry stone). The palate is greedy, tense, expressive and enveloping, with lots of fruits, tight tannins, slightly bitter, but enveloped, and well structured. It expresses more notes of tangy fruits (morello cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, red plum, cranberry jam, fresh cranberries, bigarreau cherry), associated with notes of roasting (toasted almond, coffee). Beautiful tangy fruity material and firmness in the mouth, with noticeable spicy and minty flavours (liquorice, nutmeg, fresh herbs). Savoury, gourmet finish, with a good bitterness. A very young wine, with potential and firmness, which still needs to soften. An elegant and solid structure.
