The nose is aromatic, spicy, smoky, with a delicate meaty touch. It expresses notes of fresh ripe and dried fruits (bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry, a hint of blackberry and black plum), liquorice, elegant floral notes of violet and cornflower, as well as a racy minerality of dried stone and cocoa. The palate is subtle, melted and refined, with enveloping, cocoa-like, silky and elegant tannins. It expresses notes of blackberry, black plum, morello cherry, blackcurrant, bigarreau cherry and blueberry, combined with an elegant floral side (cornflower, violet), notes of liquorice, cocoa and dried stone.
