Château des Landes – Cuvée Prestige 2022 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is well-conducted, chiseled and fresh, with a fine intensity and airiness in its grain, offering a purity in its definition. It would benefit from being decanted. We find notes of blackcurrant, small wild berries and more precisely graphene associated with a touch of violet, bigarreau cherry, as well as fine hints of zan, sweet pepper, anise and spices. On the palate, the wine is nicely fruity, juicy and supple, with a certain smoothness in freshness, good definition and airiness. We perceive notes of pulpy blackberry, creamy blackcurrant, and small touches of roasted and juicy red fruits, associated with touches of blueberry, blue plum, vanilla, as well as accents of graph, cardamom, toast and light hints of vanilla. In the background, a subtle note almost of fresh local grove. The tannins are nicely built, slightly mellow and finely sappy. Good length. A multi-layered profile.
