Château Robin la Fleur – Cuvée Saint-Jean 2022 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

Château Robin la Fleur – Cuvée Saint-Jean 2022 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers precise and fresh fruit. A certain little concentration as well as a tight side. This wine needs to be decanted. We find notes of fresh black cherry, lily/violet and slight notes of camphor/incense associated with touches of dense/fresh wild berries as well as fine hints of zan, spices and a very discreet tip of saffron. The palate is nicely fresh with fruit, juiciness, a pulpy finish and a little tightness in its structure with verticality. The wine needs time to open. We have notes of black cherries, star anise and small notes of zan associated with touches of juicy roasted raspberries as well as hints of flowers, fine hints of small concentrated black fruits, graphene, tonka bean and mocha. as well as almost hints of fresh roasting. There is good length with a hint of fresh black pepper and persistence with a touch of fresh flowers on the iris.
