The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a precise and fresh fruit. A certain small concentration as well as a tightness. The wine benefits from being decanted. It reveals notes of fresh black cherry, lily/violet and small notes of camphor/incense associated with touches of dense/fresh wild berries as well as fine hints of zan, spices and a very discreet hint of saffron. The palate is nicely fresh, and offers fruit, juiciness, a fine pulpiness, a small tight side in its structure, verticality. The wine needs time to open up. It expresses notes of black cherry, star anise and small notes of zan associated with touches of roasted-juicy raspberry as well as hints of flowers, fine hints of concentrated black berries, graphene, tonka bean/mocha as well as almost roasted-fresh hints. Good length and a hint of fresh black pepper. Persistence with a hint of fresh flowers/fresh iris.
