The nose is fruity, deep, with freshness and a little power. There are notes of boysenberry, crushed wild strawberry, and slight notes of bright blackcurrant, associated with touches of violet, incense, as well as a sappy hint and a discreet touch of pepper. The palate is nicely structured, supple, fresh, elegant and airy, with a tangy structure. It offers a beautiful energy/tart, with notes of juicy/pulp blackberry, bright blackcurrant and small juicy/chiseled blue fruits, accompanied by touches of sap, licorice, as well as fine hints of star anise and chocolate. Tannins are mellow and gourmand, with freshness and beautiful acidity from the limestone.
