Château Beynat – Cuvée Léonard 2022 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

Château Beynat – Cuvée Léonard 2022 – Castillon Côtes-de-Bordeaux

The nose is fruity, ripe and deep, with a certain darkness and a nice maturity sometimes flirting elegantly with roasted fruit. A fine floral hint is also present. It reveals notes of crushed blackcurrant, roasted and elegant raspberry and small notes of concentrated blueberry associated with touches of small bright black berries/ juniper berries as well as fine hints of infusion and spices. The palate is beautifully mineral, fresh, ample, suave, tasty and energetic. An elegant, racy and tannic structure. We find notes of fairly ripe blackcurrant, roasted and elegant small red fruits associated with touches of bright/juicy small black fruits as well as fine hints of star anise, cornflower, tonka bean, infusion and toast. A beautiful, gourmand, elegant and mellow wine that offers a beautiful freshness and juiciness.
