The wine is worth decanting. A lovely fruity, gourmet nose, which offers a certain pulpiness and a certain intensity of the grain, all in finesse. It expresses notes of bright blackcurrant, bright morello cherry and more slightly – blue plum associated with touches of cornflower, a hint of lily and fine hints of liquorice stick, cherry blossom, colas, black tea and tobacco. The palate is nicely juicy, gourmet, fruity and offers brilliance and the purity of the fruit. It expresses notes of bright bigarreau cherry, bright blueberry and more slightly – bright blackcurrant, associated with touches of cornflower, bourbon vanilla and a hint of star anise. Lovely sapidity and delicate mouthfeel, fleshy and gourmet. Good length with a subtle chewiness that is nicely fresh and juicy.
