Château la Fleur de Boüard 2022 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

The nose is fruity, ripe, fresh, with good concentration. There are notes of bright blackberry, blueberry and, small notes, roasted and juicy cherry, associated with touches of violet/lilac, as well as fine hints of flowery pepper and discreet touches of blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, balanced, with a fresh structure, tension, precision, suppleness and brilliance of the fruit. We find notes of juicy roasted cherry, bright blueberry, and small red berries, associated with touches of cornflower, star anise, zan, as well as a hint of laurel berry, almost sage, from infusion, and fine hints of tonka bean and sweet spices. Tannins are mellow and sapid. Freshness, with a little velvety side and shine. Small touch of roasting in the background.
