Château Samion 2022 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

Château Samion 2022 – Lalande-de-Pomerol

(100% Merlot) The nose is elegant, fresh and offers a small concentration as well as a pulpy/fresh side. We find notes of fresh/pulpy wild blackberry and small notes of fresh flowers (violet, cornflower lily) associated with notes of fresh morello cherry, racy mineral hints as well as subtle hints of liquorice stick. The palate is beautifully fresh, fruity, delicate, supple and offers beautiful accuracy, elegance and brilliance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy and pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy blueberry and small notes of bright red berries associated with touches of liquorice stick as well as subtle notes of nutmeg. Tannins are mellow, well-managed, fresh and elegant. A lovely mellow and delicious texture on the finish.
