George Washington’s – Straight Rye Whiskey, Premium – Historic Recipe

(Aged Yrs ./ Mos. 5/8, Year 2024, Bottle 575) The nose is precise, intense, beautifully delicate in its power and offers a lovely frank, stretched and precise grain. We find notes of smoke, dried orange and small notes of dried flowers associated with touches of dried kumquat as well as fine hints of dried fig as well as a discreet hint of cereals and pâtisseries. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral texture, a good definition, a certain power, precision as well as a remarkable precise, frank and powerful grain. On the palate this Whiskey expresses notes of Zante currant, dried date and small notes of orange zest, marmalade, with hints of black pepper, cereals as well as fine hints of tonka bean, toasted, crème brûlée and a discreet hint of roasting. Good length.
