(100% Merlot) The nose is fruity, concentrated and offers depth as well as superb power in precision It reveals notes of concentrated cassis, small black fruits and small notes of Madagascar pepper associated with touches of nutmeg, black olive as well as discreet hints of balsamic. The palate is nicely carried, supple, airy, racy, concentrated and deep (but full of control and precision). Nice mineral-gravelly hint. On the palate this wine expresses notes of concentrated cassis, concentrated blackberry and small notes of concentrated small black fruits associated with touches of black pepper, tobacco, dark chocolate/mocha as well as almost sappy hints (in the background) and a hint of anise (in the background). Tannins are mellow and racy. A hint of good bitterness from the roasting. A nice powerful, frank, authentic as well as concentrated wine but all in control and precision.
