The wine needs to be decanted. The nose is a bit tight (currently), frank and offers power. It reveals notes of clove, warm grove and small notes of tobacco associated with touches of nutmeg and a hint of roasted blackberry. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, tension, precision, a mineral frame, a small austerity as well as verticality. A charming and mellow side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, small creamy red fruits and small notes of clove associated with touches of violet as well as a hint of strawberry tree and nutmeg. Tannins are mellow and gourmands. A small chew on the finish/persistence.
