Beautiful racy nose, mineral, fruity, frank, harmonious as well as delicate and powerful at the same time. A beautiful floral side. We find notes of violet, cornflower and small notes of Cubeb pepper associated with touches of small blue fruits as well as hints of black pepper and a discreet hint of zan. The palate is beautifully textured, gourmand, supple, suave, complex, nicely built, ample and elegant. Beautiful deepness, richness and a fine elegant austerity. A great purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, bright/fresh blue plum and small notes of pulpy cassis associated with touches of small jammy red fruits, fine hints of cornflower, lilac, star anise as well as subtle hints of blond tobacco, cardamom and a subtle hint of sense of place (local biotope). Good length. Tannins are sapid, slightly powdered and delicate.
