The nose is frank, spicy, marked graphene and offers a peppery side. There are notes of wild blackberry, gray pepper and small notes of spices associated with hints of nutmeg and toast. The palate is mineral, fresh and offers juiciness, suppleness, tension, a tangy frame as well as brilliance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/tangy blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of bright cherry associated with touches of black plum, a hint of liquorice stick/star anise as well as a subtle hint of colas and a discreet hint of toasted/chocolate. Good length. Beautiful tangy persistence.
