The nose is fresh with notes of stewed black fruits such as blackberries. We also perceive a touch of potpourri and a toast in the background, almost imperceptible. The second nose opens up, more mentholated, more on cocoa, more on cooked fruit. The palate is fresh, round on the attack. There are notes of fresh and stewed black fruits such as black cherry and plum. The woody side is present with fresh and grippy tannins, persistent until the finish. There is a hint of clove in the finish which accompanies notes of juicy black cherry. Good potential.
