Paradise Springs – Meritage 2019 – Virginia

The nose is fruity, juicy and offers a certain concentration, deepness as well as a certain small power in precision. It reveals notes of juicy/fleshy wild cassis, fleshy wild strawberry and small notes of juicy/acidulous black berries associated with touches of Bigarreau cherry, small blue fruits, discreet hints of hazelnut as well as a subtle hint of smoke and vanilla. The palate is nicely juicy, fleshy and offers gourmandise, tension as well as energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, bright purple plum and small notes of concentrated black berries associated with touches of red berries as well as a hint of fresh cherry. Beautiful brightness, gourmandise, deepness and juiciness. Fine hints of violet in the background.
