Paradise Springs – Cabernet Franc 2021, Brown Bear Vineyard – Virginia

The nose is fruity and offers structure, a small concentration as well as a certain juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/bright cassis, fresh red berries and small notes of violet associated with touches of fresh sap, hints of concentrated small blue fruits, discreet hints of graphene, toast and a subtle hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, an acidulous frame, tension, juiciness as well as a certain brightness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy black cherry, pulpy/juicy purple plum and small notes of crunchy red berries associated with touches of cornflower, graphene as well as a subtle hint almost sense of the place (local biotope), roasting and toasted. Good length. A subtle hint of black pepper in the background, almost a floral side.
