Beautiful, elegant, full, aromatic and complex nose that offers a fresh rancio side. We find notes of fresh Zante currant, fresh fig and small notes of rosewood, sandalwood associated with touches of juniper berries as well as fine hints of dried blackcurrant, a subtle hint of almond and fresh tobacco/fresh incense. The palate is beautifully fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a tangy frame, tension, energy, roundness, deepness as well as discreetly concentrated. On the palate this wine expresses notes of dried apricot, apricot almond and small notes of dried blackcurrant associated with touches of sandalwood, cherry stone as well as a hint of jammy blueberry, fresh leather and fresh rancio. Discreet hints of pâtisseries on the finish. Very nice tangy persistence. Chewy. A hint of toasted almond and salinity on the persistence.
