La Masia du Clos del Rey 2021 – Maury Grenat

The nose is fruity, elegant, deep, contained, gourmand. It expresses notes of crushed blueberry, blackberry jelly and more slightly – jammy strawberry, associated with delicate hints of cinnamon, tobacco, a hint of smoke, morello cherry in sugar. The palate is nicely conducted, fruity, fresh, suave, supple and offers gourmandise, a tangy frame. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, crushed blueberry and more slightly – jammy blackcurrant associated with touches of crushed raspberry, as well as hints of fig, a subtle hint almost dried apricot, a discreet hint of marmalade, tobacco, smoke and spices. Good length, with a tangy frame and freshness. Nicely fresh and elegant.
