The nose is racy and offers a rancio side, a fine power as well as a certain concentration. It reveals notes of rancio, dried citrus fruits and small notes of potpourri associated with touches of dry undergrowth, tobacco as well as a hint of fresh black pepper and incense. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers tension, suavity, a mineral frame as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied red plum, marmalade, crushed fig and small notes of Zante currant associated with touches of gingerbread, cardamom, wild fennel and a discreet hint of pepper. A discreet and elegant hint of leather.
