The nose is fruity and offers a certain intensity and a small concentration. It reveals notes of crushed strawberry, fleshy cherry and small notes of blueberry associated with touches of cornflower, cherry blossom, liquorice stick as well as discreet hints of sage and grove. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, suavity, a small fat as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy cassis, juicy/pulpy cherry and small notes of crushed red berries associated with touches of cornflower, liquorice stick, star anise, fine hints of fresh sage, fresh rosemary, cardamom (in the background) as well as a hint of olive tree and toast. Tannins are sapid, fresh and supple. Good length. A beautiful grain especially on the finish.
