Château Roullet 2022 – Canon-Fronsac

Château Roullet 2022 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose is fruity and offers a small concentration, a certain precision as well as a stretched side. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, camphor and small notes of nutmeg associated with a touch of clove as well as a very discreet hint of crushed cassis (in the background). The palate is juicy, tangy and offers a stretched side, balance as well as a slightly tight structure. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cherry, juicy small red fruits and small notes of juicy cassis associated with touches of violet as well as a hint of sweet blond tobacco and almond. Tannins are mellow. Good length. A hint of coffee/roasting in the background. The finish is a bit tight.
