Clos Saint-Michel 2022 – Canon-Fronsac

Clos Saint-Michel 2022 – Canon-Fronsac

The nose offers concentration, fruit, a good definition as well as a subtle powdery side. It reveals notes of bright cherry, bright cassis and small notes of violet associated with touches of liquorice stick, incense/smoke and cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame, precision as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright raspberry and small notes of juicy-fresh red fruits associated with hints of sweet blond tobacco, fresh balsamic as well as a hint of cocoa, toast and almost aromatic herbs/infusion (in the background). Tannins are mellow and tasty. Good length.
